You did accept more weight than we originally targeted, but in return you're getting a much tougher tire, excellent sidewall protection, strong wet/snow performance, and something you can confidently air down and take off-road. And at roughly 33.7", it should look noticeably better than the factory 285/65R18 without looking oversized. The other benefit is your future lift plan: 285/70R18 KO3s should still look very proportional with a mild ~1–1.5" lift. I wouldn't feel any pressure to move to 35s.
