Who we are
Welcome
We Travel Photo is a visual journal of the places we explore, the people we meet, and the moments that stay with us long after the journey is over. It began with a simple idea: to document the world as we experience it. Not only the famous landmarks or the places found on every travel list, but also the quiet roads, early mornings, unexpected detours, remote landscapes, wildlife encounters, and small details that often become the most memorable part of a trip. Photography gives us a reason to slow down. To look more carefully. To notice the changing light over a mountain range, the movement of an animal in the distance, the character of an old street, or the expression on a face during a moment that would otherwise pass unnoticed. Some journeys take us far from home, into wild landscapes and unfamiliar places. Others happen closer than expected. What connects them all is curiosity and the desire to experience somewhere new with a camera in hand. This site is part photography portfolio, part travel journal, and part collection of stories gathered along the way. Here you will find photographs, destinations, personal experiences, travel notes, and the occasional story behind the image.

Some of my favorite moments weren't dramatic encounters at all. They were the quiet ones: watching giraffes crossing the horizon, sitting beside a waterhole as the sun disappeared, or simply listening to the wilderness from the back of a safari vehicle. Photography gives me an excuse to slow down and pay attention to those moments.
The Andes
The mornings begin quietly, with cool air drifting across the grasslands and the first light slowly revealing a landscape that seems to stretch forever. Somewhere in the distance, a lion calls. Birds begin filling the trees, antelope move carefully through the brush, and the bush slowly comes alive.
